In time for the 2022 season start, the website shines in a new light, bringing the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra "up close" to the concertgoers' displays. Station developed the digital platform, opening up the world of classical music. The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra thus makes a relevant contribution to the "IG Musikstadt Luzern," which was initiated together with the Lucerne Festival and Lucerne Tourism, making Lucerne the top address for music.
Experiencing classical music digitally
The website reflects the experience of the resonating symphony orchestra in a two-dimensional way. The individual pages were reimagined from the users' perspective. Thanks to a clever information architecture, existing and future music lovers can quickly and easily find the desired content. Dynamically, the light falls on the individual artists and the program. The idea follows the design. White borders give the content air and space and, thanks to catchy headlines, appear in a magazine look.
Form and color with function
The highlight of the website is the event calendar, which presents the various offerings of the symphony orchestra in an easily understandable and attractive way. The program impresses with a well-thought-out color concept: the individual event categories are visually recognizable throughout the entire page, creating orientation and ease in searching for events. The filter and marketing functions go far beyond those of a conventional calendar.
